Backstory
The idea of Dish Wipes was born on a rock climbing trip to Red Rock, Nevada. After completing a strenuous multi-pitch climb, all we wanted to do was eat dinner and stay warm by the campfire with friends. But instead we had to get our hands all wet and gross cleaning the dishes - talk about a buzzkill!
That was when Kallie realized how convenient it would be if we had cleaning wipes for our dishes. After a quick web search, Matt could not believe there wasn’t a product to make doing dishes at the campsite easier! We got to work developing the perfect product to fix our problem.
For months, we cut pouch holes, placed peel stickers, and heat-sealed wipe packs. And when spring rolled around, our 500 hand-assembled units sold out... in just eight weeks! That was when we realized we had something special on our hands. So we pitched our product to investors and raised the funds to do this thing right.

Where We Are Now
Since launching in 2022, Dish Wipes have made their way into the hands of outdoor enthusiasts nationwide. You can find them in REI stores, throughout the National Parks, and online at Amazon, Walmart, and our website.
It’s been an incredible journey bringing this product to life and sharing it with the outdoor community. Along the way, we’ve had some unforgettable milestones—we even found ourselves airing as contestant winners on episode 5 of Amazon Prime’s new Shark Tank spinoff Buy It Now!
